Mr Dog Poop & DOGdex ID ™

When your property enrolls in Mr Dog Poop, all of your residents are assured that they and their children will seldom encounter pet waste on the premises. Dog poop poses an environmental hazard and a health hazard to youngsters and other animals, not to mention it is simply unsightly. Non-pet owners who are tired of seeing, smelling, and stepping in dog waste will welcome the green and clean grounds that Mr Dog Poop creates.

Pet-owning residents are also excited about Mr Dog Poop! They know their pets will seldom encounter another dog’s waste pile, which is contaminated with bacteria and other microbes. They know every dog owner on the property is working towards the same goal, doing their part to keep the grounds clean. DOGdex ID is an online database run by Mr Dog Poop allowing any municipality to match dog DNA profiles of their resident’s dogs. Thereby maintaining  accurate and achievable identification methods of all the dogs in that municipality.

The profiles of any lost, found or stolen dogs can be matched against the database facilitating the safe return of all canine pets to their owners. This system can also be used to identify animals in dog bite incidents, match crime scene DNA evidence and even help manage those repeat dog poop “Poop and Run” violators leaving dog poop on city sidewalks.

DOGdex ID is a low-cost service that is normally paid for by the dog owners or bundled into existing dog registration fees. Unlike other identification methods, the DNA collection is only required one time during the entire life of the dog.
